► Portland Correspondence Co-op, and being in a room with a whole bunch of people who love snail mail
► Russian typewriters
► Riding my bike more
► Getting new paint colors
► Organizing my scraps
Do whatever! It’s basically just a room full of people who enjoy snail mail, or are involved in mail art. This Portland meeting was the first one, so we had a little introduction by the guys who decided to start it, they passed around some examples of mail art, and then we were free to do whatever! Some people wrote letters/postcards, some did collages, others socialized. It’s a lot of fun, and a great way to meet new pen pals!
It’s always so cool to see keyboards/typewriters from outside of the U.S. Though, admittedly, frustrating when you’re in an Internet cafe and just want to finish your e-mail. Haha. 🙂
What do you do at a correspondence co-op?

I never even thought about non-US keyboards… haha. I bet they would be frustrating to use! I just love the Russian characters.
