I receive a lot of amazing things in my mailbox almost daily. I thought it would be nice to feature some beautiful mail art here and there.
To be honest, I have no idea who these people are. Alyssum and Mudhead sent me this envelope with a couple of drawings and a request for mail art about “seeing good magic”. I assume they found my address through my blog, since the envelope is addressed to Dactyl Life. No matter, I love surprises and mysteries when it comes to mail.
I really enjoy these strange drawings. They are different than what I usually receive in the mail and I love that. I’m much more a fan of the weird or unusual over this trend of “happy mail”. Don’t get me wrong, I love anything I get in the mail! This type of art just appeals to me a bit more.
So, I don’t know anything about these people but I did a bit of Googling (gotta love the internet) and found their blogs. Wherever you are, Alyssum and Mudhead, thank you for the mail! I am sending some good magic mail art your way soon.
This reminds me of the kind of mail that my cousin would send me with weird drawings (although no tits)… especially the “seal” which is hilarious!

Hahaha! I think this is my first tits mail art. The “sealed” cracked me up.

I love mysterious mail from strangers! it’s the best thing about having an address to publicly post… I love the drawings, these are indeed very intriguing works! (I prefer stuff like this to the happy/cute mail trend too)

Yup! I love having my address for everyone to see. Mystery mail is one of my favorite things about the Sendsomething website.

i’ve never joined sendsomething but maybe i should! i get a lot of mysterious stuff from iuoma, and need to get caught up with that, pen pals (i got behind after my partner had surgery late last summer) and a postcard project i am still working on (it was to raise donations for some surgery-related costs, but i wasn’t able to work on it for the last few months). need to get all that settled (see, the spreadsheet timing is really good!!!) and then we’ll see about other websites and projects ahahahaha

I feel ya! Sending mail is like playing a constant catch-up. It’s so hard to introduce new avenues of finding pen pals. I think that is why I never got involved with IUOMA!
